Low Vision Clinic

We conduct visual function tests such as visual activity, visual fields, central visual fields, color vision, contrast sensitivity and glare testing.

We evaluate various low vision aids to make the things you want to see appear larger, brighter and easier to see. Our clinic has successfully rehabilitated patients with many eye diseases and conditions including macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.

Our exam focuses on how much vision is remaining, not on how much has been lost. We work with you to help maximize your visual function to improve independence. Special devices are evaluated to enhance your visual performance. While these aids may not improve vision, they may allow you to use your remaining vision to its fullest capacity.
